- Sunday, October 20th from 4 PM to 5 PM (in-store): Bats of Michigan. Learn about why these flying mammals are important to the ecosystem.
- Friday, October 25th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (in- store): BooFest. An event that welcomes kids of all ages to go trick-or-treating throughout the mall.

- Sunday, July 14th from 4 PM to 5 PM (in-store) - " Birds Rock! " - Taking a Closer Look at Why Birds Sing, this is a one-hour, family-friendly presentation that will be fun for all ages

Tuesday, July 30th starting at 7 PM (Island Lake State Recreation Area) - Friends of Island Lake Summer Meeting. This will be a great opportunity to learn about how you can get involved volunteering in the park
June 2024 Events
- Saturday, June 8th from 8 AM to 10 AM (in-store) - Breakfast with the Birds Hikewill take you through 3 different habitats and help you identify birds with binoculars.
- Thursday, June 13th from 7 PM to 8 PM (in-store) - Best Bird Dadsteaches you about the great things male birds do to take care of their mates and babies.
- Monday, June 17th at 10 AM (Hamburg Fitness Sunny Days Camp) - Laurel is teaching the day campers all about why birds sing and will aid in planning other birding activities for them to enjoy for the remainder of the summer.

- Thursday, May 9th from 7 PM to 8 PM (in-store) - Certify Your Yard will teach you how to make your backyard a sanctuary for native birds and plants.
- Saturday, May 11th beginning at 8:30 AM (in-store) - Breakfast with the Birds is a hike led by Laurel through Island Lake Recreation Area.
- Sunday, May 19th from 4 PM to 5 PM (in-store) - Ornitherapy will teach you how watching birds and nature affects you physically, emotionally, and mentally.
- Thursday, May 23rd from 7 PM to 8 PM (in-store) - The Joy of Bird Feeding is a class that will help you understand what this hobby can provide for you and your feathered friends.

- Sunday, April 14th from 1 PM to 2 PM (Lyon Township Public Library) - All About Orioles will give you a rundown of the history of orioles, what species can be found in the Americas, and what brings them to your yard.

- Saturday, April 27th from 8 AM to 10 AM (in-store & outside) - National Go Birding Day Bird Hike. Start in the store with a brief binocular tutorial before heading out to for birdwatching at Island Lake.

- Sunday, February 11th from 11 AM to 12 PM (in-store)- The Love Life of Birds. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, everything you need to know about breeding and nesting habits of birds.

- Sunday, January 21st from 4 PM to 5PM- Celebrate National Squirrel Appreciation Day! This in-store program will teach you everything you need to know about these critters.
- Thursday, January 25th at 6 PM at the Brighton District Library- Birding for Beginners. Learn the basics about bird watching and bird feeding.
- Sunday, January 28th at 4 PM- Hosting “Friends of Island Lake.” Join us in-store to learn more about this great group of volunteers!
